Her artistic production draws from the primitive unconscious of childhood, of playfulness and fairy-tale elements, which reveal themselves in a figuration illuminated by a lively chromatic range. Through the act of painting, the artist allows us to relive beloved moments; one can grasp everyday images within a dreamlike universe. Montanari’s style is based on a representational fusion between reality and imagination.
