Splendid and rare table service for 6 people produced by Bitossi.

The set is made in Montelupo of ceramic, and is decorated with ochre glaze and a thick garland border.

1 oval platter

Born in 1911 in Montelupo Fiorentino, Aldo Londi lived a life devoted to art: he was a painter and sculptor, but above all a ceramist. For more than fifty years he collaborated with Bitossi, first as artistic director and then as a collaborator.

Ceramic expertise and artistic sensibility were his prerogatives. Combined with a predisposition to research, they allowed him to undertake bold explorations and define a new expressive lexicon.
