Created in 1962 by Nikka founder Masataka Taketsuru as a tribute to his wife Rita, who had passed away a year earlier, this famous Japanese blended whisky is reinventing itself with this superb limited edition. To replicate the taste of the original Super Nikka, it is composed of a grain whisky and slightly peatier Yoichi malts. Aromatically, while spices and botanicals still answer the call, they do so with greater presence. On the palate, this new opus kills two birds with one stone, inviting the taster to explore not one, but two extremely different yet complementary taste paths. Finally, with its remarkable richness and complexity, the new Super Nikka could give many single malts a run for their money.

Revival combines Nikka and Yoichi whisky aged in sherry casks. The aroma is spicy, herbal, with hints of nuts and citrus fruits. The taste is honey, nougat, oak, with hints of red currant.
