Important floor-standing coat rack in wood and bronze – Napoleonic III / eclectic style – late 19th century
Elegant and scenographic floor-standing coat rack, made of solid wood with rich metal decoration (bronze or brass), characterized by a turned central column and an upper structure composed of numerous curved hooks finely worked.
The model stands out for its high decorative quality: the upper part features sinuous elements and metal volutes with detailed workmanship, typical of the Napoleonic III taste and French eclecticism of the second half of the nineteenth century.
