Cristalleries de Saint-Louis - Biscuit Barrel - Circa 1900.
Exceptional Art Nouveau biscuit barrel from Saint-Louis in crystal, executed with acid etching of a refined floral decor on a finely woven tapestry background.
The barrel has its original two-tone metal mount in delicate Rococo style, the handle is movable and the take button are in patinated metal, the lid is brass, offering a two-tone contrast typical of the period.
The barrel is acid-signed St Louis under the base.
Height 27 cm with handle / 21 cm without handle - Diameter 14 cm - 1.2 kg.
Excellent condition, no damage, normal wear on the base.
Careful shipping in double packaging.
