Description from the seller

With a small ball and an eyelet to which a watch chain can be attached, so that this compass can be worn on a chain like a pocket watch. The whole thing also looks like a pocket watch. With a very robust, rounded metal case. Base, edge, and eyelet are all made of silver metal. The compass opens by pressing the button in the eyelet.

The dial is silver with black, plastically inlaid / stamped lettering. With markings in N (Nord/North) (pointing ➼ upward) NE (North East) E (East) SE (South East) S (South) SW (South-West) W (West) NW (North-West). Around it runs a scale from 0 to 360. The North / zero point is marked with an arrow.

The needle is a twisted black needle with painted tips. Partly equipped with small luminous dots. GiD - glow in the dark luminous paint. But it no longer glows.

The "glass" should really be glass.

With an absolutely marvelous patina!!!
