Description from the seller

A decorative container on three openwork legs, made of metal in a patinated copper and brass tone. The body is copper-plated metal, set on striking, sturdy brass legs. Ceramic lid, glazed, with a visible stamp/mark on the underside. The form is very characteristic of Art Nouveau and early Art Deco – attention is drawn to the slender, stylized brass legs, side handles, and a decorative medallion with a lion mask motif on the front. The piece presents itself as highly decorative and can serve as a sugar bowl, a trinket container, or an original interior ornament. The whole is finished with a natural patina and signs of age that emphasize its authentic character. Condition is good, age-appropriate – localized wear, minor tarnish, and signs of use visible in the photos. Height approx. 23 cm, diameter approx. 17 cm. Probably European in origin, presumably Austria or Germany, dating to circa 1900–1925. The style clearly references Viennese Secession and early Art Deco. I do not ship to the USA or to countries affected by armed conflict in the Middle East.
