Description from the seller

Germany. Empire.

100% Authentic Medal Bar
World War I Awards
Iron Cross 2nd Class with "M.Q" Hallmark
The MQ hallmark on the ring of the Iron Cross 2nd Class from World War I (1914–1918) belongs to the manufacturer Mayer & Quenzer of Idar-Oberstein.
This hallmark is quite rare and interesting for collectors for several reasons:
Manufacturer: Mayer & Quenzer was a well-known manufacturer of awards. It is important not to confuse them with the larger firm Klein & Quenzer (marked "65" or "KO"), which also produced Iron Crosses.
Hallmark Type: During World War I, manufacturers often used one or two letters (e.g., "G," "WS," "KO"). The "MQ" hallmark is less common than a single "M." Blackened Cross, Magnetic Core

Hindenburg Cross with Swords. Military Division - Commemorative Cross of the First World War 1914-1918
Brand

Order of Military Merit, 5th Class with Swords for Direct Sectors of Combat Operations. Bavaria

Careful Packing and Shipping from JMEDALS -Jerusalem
Combined Shipping!
Good luck!
