M.C. Escher - Set van vier Vorpal Gallery Soho New York - 1970s

Set of four rare original exhibition posters from 1975 featuring iconic works by Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898–1972).

Printed on sturdy paper and issued to accompany exhibitions at the Vorpal Gallery (USA), which contributed to the international recognition of Escher's work.

Interesting for collectors of 20th-century graphic art, in the vein of, among others, Victor Vasarely, Bridget Riley and Josef Albers, as well as Dutch designers such as Gerd Arntz, Wim Crouwel and H.N. Werkman.

The posters are in good overall condition, without tears. Given their age, there may be light discoloration and minimal, barely noticeable signs of use. The Circellimiet poster is yellowed on the back. This is not visible on the front. The shown photos provide a representative view of the set.
