Egyptian‑style camel stool, also called saddle stool, dating to the mid‑20th century (ca. 1950–1960) with a black wooden frame, red leather cushion and gold‑tone brass fittings, featuring round brass elements with camel and desert motifs, dimensions 60 cm depth, 59 cm diameter, 37 cm height (seating height 32 cm); one object in good used condition with patina and minor wear.

On offer is a charming, classic camel stool from the mid-20th century. This iconic piece of furniture combines Oriental flair with artisanal detail work.
• Frame
Consists of black-stained wood that is gracefully curved. It is held together by authentic leather strap fastenings and decorative brass caps on the posts.
• Appliqués
A particular highlight are the round brass elements on the legs, depicting detailed camel motifs in a desert landscape.
• Seat cushion
The cushion is made of sturdy red leather and features a deeply embossed ornamentation. It shows a camel caravan under palm trees as well as classic Egyptian hieroglyph motif designs. The leather’s patina testifies to its age and gives the stool an authentic character.
The stool is in an age-appropriate, used original condition. The leather shows a pronounced patina, wear, and characteristic signs of aging, which underscore the antique look. The wooden frame is stable, but shows minor scratches and color chipping at the edges. The brass components are slightly oxidized.
