Description from the seller
This is an original oil on canvas, a unique creation by the artist Caroline Mandrafina. Not to be confused with a giclée, a canvas print, or AI-generated work.
Before shipping, the canvas will be protected with a UV-protective varnish, the edges will be painted white, and a hanging system will be installed (see photo).
Delivery will be accompanied by its certificate of authenticity and insurance on the value in secure packaging.
Caroline Mandrafina (1963), a French painter of Italian origin, begins her artistic career with fashion. Drawing, being an integral part of her primary passion, it is only natural that when she met Olivier Pfleger in 1994, he taught her painting.
Over time, her style is characterized by wide swaths of bright colors and strokes on the canvas that recall “the mosaic” which she particularly cherishes.
Preferred themes: Seascapes, Music, Nature, and Abstraction.
In 2005 she opened her gallery in Monflanquin (47) and the adventure began, with an audience still present today; she has participated in several exhibitions.
Permanent exhibition: gallery “Art et Regard,” Pessac (33).
Grand Prix at the Manzac Salon (24) in 2017.
