The fountain pen presents itself in very good overall condition, showing notable preservation both aesthetically and functionally.

The barrel in black resin maintains excellent shine and uniformity, with light micro-signs of use typical of a previously used piece, barely perceptible to the naked eye and in no way affecting its visual presence. No cracks, chips, or deformations are observed.

The platinum-plated metal cap, characteristic of the Doué version, is in very good condition, preserving its original satin finish with minimal superficial marks from normal use. The clip shows good tension and correct alignment.

The metallic finishes (rings and terminals) maintain a good general state, with slight signs of handling but without significant material loss or relevant deterioration.

The floating Montblanc emblem on the top remains clean and well defined, without cracks or damage, maintaining its characteristic visual effect.

The 14-carat gold nib is in very good condition, with no visible deformations, with correct alignment and ready to provide smooth writing. The pen has been inspected and tested, guaranteeing its proper functioning.

Overall, it is a very well-preserved piece, with light signs of use consistent with its nature, that do not affect its aesthetics or performance.

Recomendaciones de conservación

Para preservar la pluma en óptimas condiciones, se recomienda utilizar tintas de calidad específicas para estilográfica, evitar tintas pigmentadas, realizar limpiezas periódicas con agua templada si no se utiliza durante un tiempo, secarla completamente antes de guardarla y conservarla en un lugar seco, sin exposición directa a la luz solar ni a temperaturas extremas. Se aconseja accionar el sistema de carga con suavidad.
