Description from the seller

A decorative, hand-painted porcelain plate featuring a classic circular medallion motif depicting the Three Graces from ancient mythology. The central scene is surrounded by a delicate gold ornamental band on a white background. The main part of the rim is richly decorated with Brabant gilding featuring a relief pattern of vine leaves and grapes. A dark cobalt blue stripe runs along the very edge of the plate, finished with a thin gold border. This style of porcelain featuring the Three Graces motif, combined with cobalt and rich gold decoration, is very characteristic of traditional Czech porcelain manufacturers such as Epiag, Thun, or Moritz Zdekauer.
This piece was manufactured at the Epiag porcelain factory in Dalovice (Dallwitz) near Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad).
Diameter: 26,5 cm
Height: 2,4 cm
