Who has loved and read duck comics does not need an introduction to Vicar. For me personally it’s number 3 after Don Rosa and Carl Barks :-)
Vicar began his career as a caricaturist, drawing political cartoons, and entered the comic industry in 1966. Five years later he started drawing Disney comics for the Danish publisher Gutenberghus (now Egmont Group). Vicars’ position in Disney comics grew over the years and he soon had his own studio, where several artists produced up to 200 pages a year.
