Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
D-Initial model fountain pen in resin/polyester with gold-plated clip, central band and ends, made in France, dating from 2000–2010, in good used condition and fully functional, 14 cm long and 1.1 cm in diameter.
Description from the seller
The fountain pen is in very good overall condition, with a carefully maintained aesthetic and a level of preservation consistent with responsible use. The black lacquer body maintains a deep, uniform shine, with extremely light signs of use visible only upon close inspection, with no material loss or structural defects.
The gold elements (clip, central band, and terminals) preserve an excellent appearance, with intense, homogeneous shine, showing only minimal superficial marks from use and the passage of time, without significant wear to the plating.
The cap closes properly via a press-fit system, ensuring a firm and functional closure. The clip maintains proper tension and alignment, with no play.
The steel nib is in very good condition, clean and well aligned, with no visible deformations or damages. The feed has been checked, guaranteeing correct ink flow and a smooth, continuous writing experience.
The pen has been checked and serviced, and is fully operational and ready for immediate use.
Care recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically formulated for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. If not in use for an extended period, rinse with warm water, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Always operate the mechanism gently to preserve proper functioning.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
