Gujarat pearls

Old necklace composed of pearls of various shapes and sizes mounted on a black textile cord:
- Gujarat pearls made with a wax core and coated with silver plate using the traditional technique
- Lapis lazuli pearls cut into rondelle
- Phenolic resin pearls cut barrel-shaped
- Turquoise imitation pearls (unknown material)

Vintage patina
In good condition, signs of use and time.
Oxidation spots on the silver and silver heavily darkened by time.
Noted:
- textile cord worn from use and time (frayed and loosened)
- small wax residues on the surface of the Gujarat pearls

Any imperfections are part of use, time, artisanal workmanship, and the very nature of the stones.
