Stupenda coppia di comodini o tavolini da notte in stile Neoclassico/Luigi XVI, caratterizzati da un design raffinato ed elegante. Piani superiori sagomati realizzati in pregiato marmo onice con intense venature calde color ambra/miele/marrone dorato e ruggine, colori dovuti alla presenza di ossidi di ferro. Fascia sotto piano include un singolo cassetto centrale ornato da una maniglia circolare a rosetta in bronzo, parte frontale del cassetto e i lati mostrano una sofisticata impiallacciatura in Palissandro Brasiliano (cosiddetto Bois de Violet) con motivo geometrico a lisca di pesce (spina di pesce), racchiuso da filettature in contrasto in legno di acero. Struttura sorretta da quattro gambe slanciate tronco-piramidali, rastremate verso il basso ed impreziosite in alto da frontoni in ottone dorato e sagomato ed in basso da sabot (piedini) decorativi in ottone dorato. Mobili di questo tipo sono stati prodotti in Italia e Francia sia come pezzi d'epoca originali della fine del XVIII secolo, sia come eccellenti riproduzioni di alta ebanisteria realizzate nel corso del XX secolo, in particolare negli anni '50 e '60 da designer ispirati allo stile neoclassico, come in questo caso. Pezzi unici, completamente originali, di grande prestigio e valore perché difficilissimi da reperire sul mercato in queste buonissime condizioni e con i marmi originali integri.
