1984 Meissen Limited Edition Annual Plate, Scheherazade Scene This is a rare limited-edition annual plate from the VEB Staatliche Porzellanmanufaktur Meissen (DDR), dated 1984, created by artist Ukki. The plate depicts a scene from One Thousand and One Nights (Scheherazade pausing her story at dawn) using classic Meissen cobalt blue underglaze painting, enhanced with delicate gilded details. It bears the Meissen crossed swords mark, artist signature, and edition information on the reverse. The plate measures approximately 25.2 cm in diameter and comes with its original fitted presentation box, in excellent condition with minimal wear.
