Longwy France majolica candy box with enamel decoration – floral and geometric design, circa 1950–1980
Beautiful decorative candy box in enamel-glazed earthenware from Longwy, France, with its original lid and a superb floral and geometric decoration in blue, white, cream and gold tones. The piece bears the mark under the base LONGWY FRANCE, with a visible pattern/series number. Overall good condition, with small chips on the lid and base, visible in the photos.

Floral and geometric design consisting of white/blue-tinted flowers, turquoise blue leaves, cream and gold lozenge motifs, with dark outlines. Very decorative and elegant overall, typical of the Longwy aesthetic.
Colors:
Blue, white, cream, gold and dark outlines.
Condition:
Good overall condition, with normal signs of age and use. Presence of small chips/scuffs at the lid and base, visible in the photos. Fine crazing in the glaze, characteristic of this type of antique earthenware. The interior shows light signs of use.
Observations:
Beautiful decorative piece, ideal for collectors of French faience, Longwy, or vintage decorative objects. The lid is present and matches the body of the candy box.
