Description from the seller
A rare and finely crafted example of Kashmir's celebrated enamel metalwork tradition. This lobed gilt copper bowl is decorated across its entire exterior with dense, scrolling floral vines rendered in rich polychrome enamel — cobalt blue, turquoise, and ruby red — set against a brilliant gilded ground. The upper register features a delicate pierced frieze of eight-petaled flowers, allowing light to pass through the open-work border in a way that brings the piece to life.
