These are a pair of vintage cufflinks from the Christian Dior Monsieur collection, a formal menswear accessory line created by Dior for men. Produced by a German partner manufacturer, they represent a classic style from the 1980s and 90s.
The box is imprinted with the Christian Dior MONSIEUR logo. This was Dior's menswear line launched between the 1970s and 1990s, focusing on suits, ties, cufflinks, and other business accessories, targeting the high-end business man market.
The back is engraved with the GERMANY logo, indicating that they were produced by Henkel & Grosse, a long-time Dior partner and manufacturer of many of Dior's vintage jewelry pieces.
Design: An octagonal, multi-tiered frame with a black enamel center and a silver Dior Monogram logo, a classic "black and gold" business style design that is understated yet highly recognizable.
Craftsmanship: Made of metal and black enamel, with a classic T-shaped toggle back clasp, a mainstream fastening method for high-end cufflinks at the time, secure and easy to wear.
