Oil table lamp dating to the late 19th century in Napoleon III style, with a green blown glass reservoir hand-decorated with gold motifs and a brass mount and burner on a régule or silvered base.
Description from the seller
Elegant oil table lamp dating from the late 19th century, Napoléon III style with Art Nouveau and japonisant influences.
Éméraude green blown glass reservoir decorated by hand with gold motifs representing vegetal garlands and a central knot.
Monture and burner in antique brass with a decorated ajuste knob and glass chimney.
Richly ornamented base in régule or silvered metal with rocaille decoration resting on four elaborately shaped feet.
The lamp presents very fine decorative quality with an elegant contrast between the translucent green glass and the metallic ornaments.
Presence of the "Déposé" mark under the base.
Good overall condition considering its age, normal wear related to time and use: slight gilding wear, traces of oxidation and small signs of use.
Note: the decorative piece fixed to the burner knob does not appear to be original; see the photos as they are part of the description.
