Description from the seller

Superb ewer or carafe in thick molded glass with a metal mounting, made around the 1950s, in a late Art Deco or retro-modernist style.

The stylized silhouette of the rooster (shape of the beak, comb, and tail) is a typical animal evocation from the first half of the 20th century, highly decorative. The handle and the spout are finely worked, with a hinged lid.
