Description from the seller
Masterpiece Guy Vandenbranden – Beautiful Geometric Screen Print titled 'Graph' – Hand-signed & Numbered (250/500)
Description
For the connoisseur and collector of high-quality Belgian art: an exceptionally powerful, geometric abstract work by the hand of the Antwerp master-constructivist Guy Vandenbranden (1926 - 2014).
This iconic graphic work shows Vandenbranden at the absolute peak of his abilities. It features a fabulous composition in which tight, colorful horizontal bands (royal blue, deep yellow, bright red and light blue) contrast with a central jet-black frame and a soft old-pink background field. An absolute showstopper that immediately adds a timeless, architectural class to any modern, design or eclectic interior.
Unique features of this edition:
Artist: Guy Vandenbranden (Belgian school, absolute pioneer of post-war geometric abstraction).
Technique: Original, high-quality screen print with extremely full, covering and vibrant color pigments.
Support/paper: Printed on luxurious, heavy white wove paper with the characteristic irregular hand-made deckle edges around, fully intact.
Framing tip: The generous white margins around the image are completely pristine and undamaged. This makes the work ideally suited for a high-quality 'floating' framing, where the authentic deckle edge remains beautifully visible.
Authenticity & Exclusivity (see detail photos):
Fully original hand-signed in pencil by Guy Vandenbranden bottom right.
Original pencil-numbered bottom left: edition 250 / 500. A beautiful, precise number centered perfectly in the middle of the limited edition.
Condition: The work and the paper are in exceptionally good, fresh, unused condition with razor-sharp corners (always flat, clean and darkly preserved).
Why invest in Guy Vandenbranden?
The work of Guy Vandenbranden is in the permanent collections of leading museums (including S.M.A.K. in Ghent and the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium). His market value has seen strong, stable reappraisals nationally and internationally in recent years. Investing in his signed and limited graphics is a choice for guaranteed artistic and financial value preservation.
