Set of three brass candelabras in brass fused finish, dating from 1910–1920, of Italian origin in an antique Biedermeier style with dimensions about 20 cm high, 12 cm wide and 12 cm deep.
Description from the seller
Set of three candelabras from the late 19th to early 20th century
- The middle candlestick selected is an antique brass candlestick with a push-up mechanism (or lift-and-lower) candle holder, dating from the 19th century.
Main Features
Push mechanism: The lever or side knob located on the cylindrical shaft serves to push the candle upward as it burns, or to easily remove the remaining stub.
Base with a plate: The wide concave base is designed specifically to catch melted wax drips and prevent damage to the furniture.
Style and Material: Made of solid patinated brass, this type of rustic folk-art or room lighting was very common in European homes in the 19th century.
The two side candelabras are classic turned-stem models (table or fireplace), always in antique brass.
