The lamp is richly detailed and equipped with a decorative shade with marble/agate effect, which provides warm ambient lighting.
A striking feature is the refined dress of the lady, executed in the so-called “Dresden lace porcelain” technique. Here real lace is embedded in porcelain and baked, creating a very fine and fragile porcelain lace effect (it looks like fabric, but is entirely porcelain).
