Vintage statue in Egyptian style, depicting an Egyptian woman figure, 800 silver sheet punched - total weight of the statue 421 grams. Height 21 cm, pedestal dimensions 11 x 8 cm.

The work shows an evident Art Déco influence tied to the Egyptomania of the first half of the 20th century, with decorative motifs inspired by ancient Egypt, and is enriched by interesting marks: the signature “Simone”, probably referring to the artist, sculptor, or designer of the original model; the mark “Déposé Italy”, which indicates a deposited/protected model and confirms Italian production; and the stamp with an “R” in a square, typical of silver-filled or silver-coated objects, created using electroforming or lamination on an internal support.
