Rustic Oak Bench / Side Table, Charlotte Perriand Style

A wonderfully simple rustic bench or side table in solid oak, made in the spirit of French modernist mountain furniture and very much in the style associated with Charlotte Perriand.

The design is reduced to the essentials: a rectangular oak top with softly rounded edges, standing on four cylindrical legs. It has honest, practical charm where nothing is overdesigned, yet the proportions feel just right. The bench has a warm oak colour, visible grain and the attractive wear of use, giving it a relaxed, authentic character.

This is the larger model. It would work beautifully in a rustic interior, but also brings warmth and texture to a more modern setting.

The bench is unrestored and in good vintage condition, with wear, scratches and marks consistent with age and use. It is solid, sturdy and stable, ready to be used.
