Description from the seller
Lot: Art Deco perfume bottle in Rosaline glass – Oranienhütte
Detailed Description
A rare and sophisticated genuine Art Deco perfume bottle, produced by the renowned glassmaker Oranienhütte (F. Losky), in the Silesia region, circa 1930. The piece features a bold geometric design with a faceted body at sharp angles, a hallmark feature of the period.
Made in Rosaline-toned glass (peach pink), the piece retains its original factory label ("Oranienhütte - Schlesien"), which adds significant historical value and authenticity for European glassware collectors.
Manufacturer: Oranienhütte (F. Losky Glasfabrik).
Origin: Silesia (Schlesien), present-day Poland/Germany.
Period: 1930s.
Style: Art Deco.
Material: Molded and cut glass.
Condition
The piece is in excellent cosmetic preservation, maintaining the original luster and transparency of the glass.
Note: It has only a small chip on the neck, a common detail in utilitarian pieces of this era, which does not compromise the structure or beauty of the piece on display. The rest of the body and edges are intact.
Display Suggestion
Ideal for pairing with bar sets, vanity items, or early 20th-century colored crystal collections.
