Offered: a special richly decorated antique German letter scale with a weighing pan marked with tariff notation. The tariff notation is in German and still very readable (which is rarely the case).
To date it is unknown who the maker of this special letter scale is. The adjustment screw bears the letters J, G and F. But even the most seasoned experts have not been able to determine what these letters stand for. So for now it remains unclear who the maker of this scale is.
The weighing range of this richly decorated scale runs from 0 to 250 grams.
The scale is complete and equipped with a plate bearing tariff notation. The mechanism with the pendulum arm and the richly decorated base makes this an interesting and decorative object for collectors of old measuring instruments, industrial design, or retro office accessories.
Condition:
In used but neat vintage condition, with normal signs of age and use.
