Offered: a remarkable, richly decorated antique German mail scale equipped with a weighing platform with tariff indication. The tariff indication is in German and is still very readable (which is a rarity).

To date it is unknown who the maker of this remarkable mail scale is. On the adjustment screw are the letters J, G and F. But even the most seasoned connoisseurs have not yet been able to determine what these letters stand for. So for now it remains uncertain who the maker of this scale is.

The weighing range of this richly decorated scale runs from 0 to 50 grams.

The scale is complete and supplied with a platform with tariff indication. The mechanism with the pendulum arm and the richly decorated base makes this an interesting and decorative object for collectors of old measuring instruments, industrial design, or retro office accessories.
