Fantastic eye-catchers, these hand-painted wall consoles in the shape of elephant heads. Richly decorated.

On each of the consoles, an object can be placed, such as a vase or a sculpture. A shelf can rest on both elephant heads, so the heads serve as decorative shelf supports. Even without anything on them, these elephants are beautiful (wall) ornaments!

The craftsmanship is clearly evident in the small differences between the two heads; please see the photos.

The material is a composite, a type of polystone.
Polystone is a mixture of a liquid resin and natural minerals such as ground granite, marble, or soapstone.

Geweldige blikvangers, deze handbeschilderde muur consoles in de vorm van olifantskoppen. Rijk gedecoreerd.

Op elk van de consoles kan een object worden geplaatst, zoals een vaas of een sculptuur. Er kan een plank op beide olifantskoppen rusten, zodat de koppen decoratieve plankdragers zijn. Ook zonder iets erop zijn deze olifanten prachtige (wand)ornamenten!

Het ambachtelijke handwerk blijkt duidelijk uit de kleine verschillen tussen de beide koppen; zie de foto's alstublieft.

Het materiaal is een composiet, een type polystone. 
Polystone is een mengsel van een vloeibare hars en natuurlijke mineralen zoals gemalen graniet, marmer, of soapstone.
