A beautiful and well-crafted Renaissance-style cuirass (breastplate and backplate) in the Italian manner, dated to approximately 1580. The armour consists of a front and back plate that fasten together, crafted in polished steel with brass dome rivets and a braided/roped steel trim along the neck opening and edges.
