Guigal’s Hermitage Blanc is a blend of 95% Marsanne and 5% Roussanne sourced from carefully selected parcels on the legendary granite Hill of Hermitage in Tain-l’Hermitage, aged 2 years in 50% new and 50% used French oak barrels — a serious, structured and ageworthy white Rhône of great complexity. The 2019 vintage was described by Philippe Guigal himself as “a truly great vintage in the Northern Rhône.” The wine delivers beeswax and candied orange on the nose with notes of toast and vanilla; bold, rich and weighty on the palate with fine tannins supporting its expansive texture — a white wine capable of aging 15-20 years.
