Brooke, Voyage a Naples et en Toscane, avant et pendant l'invasion des français en Italie, avec des observations critiques, sur les moeurs et coutumes de l'Italie, des détails sur la terrible explosion du Mont-Vésuve, pris sur les lieux à minuit, en juin 1794, lorsque la belle ville de Torre del Greco fut détruite par la lave... Traduit de l'anglais, Paris, chez Nicolle-Denné, an VII [1798].

Cartonato editoriale rigido coevo con etichetta col titolo al dorso, molto ben conservato. Fogli di guardia bianchi.

Prestigiosa provenienza: sono presenti i timbri della "F. F. Hofbibliothek", ovvero la Fürstlich Fürstenbergische Hofbibliothek (Biblioteca di Corte Principesca Fürstenberg) situata a Donaueschingen, in Germania. A causa delle difficoltà finanziarie della casata Fürstenberg, a partire dagli anni '80 e fino al 2001, l'immenso patrimonio di circa 130000 volumi fu quasi interamente smembrato e venduto sul mercato antiquario.
