Bookends (2) - Wood

In good, used condition, these characteristic wooden book supports, originating from the southern Netherlands or Belgian Flanders, dating from the 1930s.

Art Deco style, symmetrically designed and with a striking scorched/burned and darker varnished finish.
The wood joints are executed in a dovetail technique.

Dimensions: 16 cm high, 11.5 cm wide and 13.5 cm deep.
