Comes with 30 boxwood pieces in two colors and two leather cups and nine dice.

The hinges and brass clasps are original.

Overall, this set is in remarkable condition for its age - and although it has clearly been well used over its 80 years of life, it is in good condition. It would make an excellent entry-level set for someone learning the joys of backgammon.

The boxwood playing pieces measure 4 cm in diameter and have a beautiful patina (see photos), just like the two leather cups sewn by hand.
