Montblanc Writers Edition Voltaire fountain pen, manufactured in Germany, with a black resin body and cap, gold-plated fittings, an 18k gold nib, limited edition 13054/20000 from the late 20th century, 149 mm long and 12.5 mm in diameter, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
The Montblanc Writers Edition Voltaire is presented in very good preserved condition, maintaining the solidity, presence and elegance typical of this renowned 1995 edition.
The body and cap, crafted in precious black resin, retain a bright and deep finish, with no cracks or deformations. They exhibit only light superficial marks, visible only under direct light, typical of moderate use and consistent with its age.
The decorative area of the cap — including the clip, rings and the top dome — remains in excellent condition. It is important to note that the top part bears the official mark “925,” indicating that the decorative assembly is made of sterling silver, enriched with Montblanc gold plating. The ornamental engraving remains sharp and well defined, highlighting its artistic character.
The nib, made of solid 18-karat gold, maintains its correct shape, with no bends, deformations or misalignment of the nib tines. The special engraving “AS 10 – 1995” remains fully visible, showing the level of detail characteristic of this series. The feed is clean and functional.
The limited edition numbering (13054/20000) is perfectly legible and authentic, which adds value and security to the piece.
Overall, the pen presents as a coherent, well-maintained and fully operable example, ideal for fine writing as well as to integrate a demanding Writers Edition Montblanc collection.
