Artist: Joan Miró (1893–1983), renowned Spanish painter and surrealist sculptor.
Title of the base work: The main design of the poster reproduces the composition of his acclaimed 1975 etched and aquatint print titled La Taupe Hilare (The Cheerful Mole), known in some poster editions also under the alternate title Shadows (Sombras).
Event: Designed exclusively for his solo exhibition at Pace Columbus Gallery (located in Columbus, Ohio), which took place from January 21 to February 24, 1979.
Printing technique: It is a five-color offset lithograph printed on heavyweight high-quality paper.
