Fountain pen, model 24, made in Germany, crafted from precious resin and gold, with a 14‑carat gold nib, piston filler, in good used condition.
Description from the seller
A0000003930
The piece is presented in very good overall condition, maintaining an elegant and homogeneous aesthetic in keeping with its age. The black resin body retains an attractive shine, with light micro-scratches on the surface from normal use over time, visible only under close inspection. No cracks, deformations, or material losses are observed.
The cap is well fitted, with a secure and proper closure. The gold-plated clip maintains a strong presence, with slight signs of use and a soft patina typical of the years passed, without deformations. The decorative rings show minimal wear and retain their structural integrity.
The 14-carat gold nib, characteristic of the semi-coneled model, is in good condition, with well-defined engravings. The tip shows normal and uniform wear, compatible with proper use, with no visible deformations or evident misalignment.
The grip section and threads are in good condition, with no appreciable damage. The piston-filler mechanism is present and complete, preserving its original configuration.
Overall, this is a well-preserved fountain pen, with signs of use appropriate to its era, fully retaining its vintage character and its appeal as a collectible piece.
Conservation recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. Clean with warm water if not used for a period, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system gently at all times.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
