Claudio Conde (XX) Nocturno - XL, an acrylic painting on canvas 100 x 70 cm, signed, original modern work from 2026 depicting a deer against a deep blue background with red, white, purple and gray tones.
Description from the seller
Nocturno – Painting on canvas, 100 x 70 cm.
The depiction shows a fawn emerging from the side to take the central axis of the composition, creating a direct and intense visual encounter with the viewer. The material richness of its coat, rendered in reddish and white tones, stood out boldly against a deep blue background that suggests a nocturnal and enveloping atmosphere. The proximity of purple flowers provides a chromatic counterpoint that balances the image and enhances the impression of intimacy and tenderness, producing a serene image that feels both present and poetically charged.
I am a visual artist with a primary focus on painting. My work concentrates on exploring color as language and as a means to build landscapes that arise in the mind but strive to take shape in physical reality. Each work is an attempt to translate feelings, memories, and inner atmosphere into tangible images, thereby building a bridge between the invisible and the visible. Color is the centerpiece of my research: I use it not only as an aesthetic element but also as a tool to open emotional and perceptual spaces.
The work is shipped with a certificate of authenticity.
Visual artist, trained at the Escuela Profesional de Artes Plásticas de Camagüey (1992) and graduated in Sociocultural Studies at the Universidad de Las Tunas (2008), has built a steady exhibition tradition in Cuba and internationally. Among his most relevant solo exhibitions are Donde duerme la luz (2024) at Galería Servando Cabrera, Tres puntos cardinales (2023) at Galería Carmelo González, and Pesebres Urbanos (2020) at the Biblioteca Nacional de Cuba, among others. His work has been part of group exhibitions at the Centro de Desarrollo de las Artes Visuales, the Centro de Artes Plásticas y Diseño de La Habana; in the curatorial section of the Zona Maco Mexico fair, among others, establishing a coherent argument about landscape, space and symbolic construction. Throughout his career he has received several honors, including prizes at the Salón Nacional de Paisaje and the Salón Fayad Jamís, which attest to the solidity and continuity of his artistic production.
