The collection brings together some of the most interesting names in Italian tradition:
- the historic Milanese manufactory Savinelli with a refined Punto Oro 622 KS and an Oscar Aged Briar;
- the ancient Cassano factory in Cassano Magnago, in the famous Lombard pipe-maker district of Varese;
- the Bologna-based craftsman Bettinelli;
- the Sicilian master Presti.
The pipes present different interpretations of the Italian school:
classical shapes, soft lines, smooth and rustic finishes, large smoking chambers and elegant proportions typical of Italian artisanal production of the 1970s–1990s.
Particularly interesting is the presence of the Savinelli Punto Oro 622 KS, a historic high-end series of the Milanese house, famous for its superior briar selection and excellent smoking qualities.
Cassano testifies to the manufacturing tradition of the province of Varese, a historic area of Italian pipe production, where laboratories and workshops operated that contributed to the international fame of Italian pipes.
Bettinelli shows the typical Emiliana artisanal sensibility:
careful workmanship, distinctive line, and excellent ergonomics.
