Roman antique ceramic amphora vase dating to the 2nd–3rd century CE, with a globular body, a straight neck and two bifid vertical handles from the shoulder, in good condition with minor chips and small losses at the foot, height 17.2 cm and diameter 12.4 cm, acquired from a French gallery in 2026 and verified as original.

Roman ceramic amphora vase.
Amphora vase adorned with two circular bands, dating from the Roman period.
Globular body, straight neck flanked by two vertical bifid handles starting from the shoulder.
Roman Empire, Mediterranean basin, 2nd/3rd century AD.
Very good condition, some chips, small losses at the base
Dimensions: height 17.2 cm x diameter 12.4 cm
Provenance information: France, N.V.T. gallery.
