Very expressionistic, sculpted and baked in clay and colored "Head of Einstein" on a granite pedestal. By the Belgian artist Ernest Patris, a versatile artist (Beuzet 03/05/1909 – Natoye 09/07/1981), Charleroi region - trained at the Gilly trade school and the Ghent Academy. Encouraged by James Ensor to devote himself fully to sculpture. Creator of various war and other monuments in Wallonia - also a gallery owner in Ostend. Repeatedly honored and winner of international prizes.

The work is in very good condition with minor signs of aging. Signed: see photos.
