Exceptional lot of 4 original sheets of Art Nouveau wallpaper coming from a very old professional catalogue of Maison Guillot in Paris, collection dated 1902.

These sheets are genuine decorative artefacts of the period, sourced from a catalogue today extremely rare and practically unattainable in this old edition. The original catalogue being very damaged, only a few plates have been preserved in a remarkable state of conservation.

These four patterns feature a refined and very soft palette, dominated by sage and patinated olive greens, lightly powdery celadon blues and touches of golden beige, in superb floral and ornamental compositions typical of early 20th century French Art Nouveau.

Each sheet measures approximately 42 x 32 cm.
