Antique French sugar spoon / saupoudreuse or scoop for fresh fruit, made of 950 silver. The sifter spoon bears a Minerva hallmark (this mark has been used in France since 1838) and two fine silver hallmarks. Estimated dating: late 19th century. The spoon is decorated with beautiful silver curls and floral motifs and a mother-of-pearl handle.

Manufactured in France at the end of the 19th century (circa 1850-1890). The style is a blend of Neoclassicism and the shell-shaped Rococo style.
