An exquisite and substantial antique English solid cast brass table lamp, radiating historical character, warmth, and fine craftsmanship.
The circular hallmark is clearly stamped on the underside of the round gallery/drip pan directly beneath the lamp socket, bearing the inscription "W.T. & S. Bham 3008" (visible in image la7.jpg). This mark firmly establishes its late Victorian or Edwardian pedigree (circa 1890-1910).

The heavy brass base stands on ornate, Rococo-style scrolled feet that gracefully flow up into a classic turned baluster column. The brass boasts a gorgeous, rich natural patina that only centuries of age can bring. It comes paired with a vintage, cream-colored fabric lampshade decorated with sophisticated patterns and a beautiful long fringe, which complements the warm glow of the solid brass perfectly.

The lamp is fully functional, equipped with a standard UK 3-pin plug, and includes the Philips light bulb shown in the photographs as a complementary addition so it is ready to use immediately.
