Antonio Asturi, Carrozzella, a 1960s Italian mixed-media work, framed, 37 cm high by 33 cm wide, 500 g, hand-signed, original edition in good condition, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Delightful work by Antonio Asturi, a self-taught artist who, after a brief Futurist phase he described as a fling, remained faithful to figurative painting, deeply influenced by the personality of the Neapolitan master Antonio Mancini.
Famous worldwide is the theme of the wheeled pram, a subject greatly requested even abroad.
On May 20, 2016, the Municipality of Vico Equense dedicated to him the MAAAM (Open Museum Antonio Asturi).
The proposed work, created in the sixties, depicts one of his typical wheel-prams with excellent craftsmanship and painting quality.
In good overall condition
It will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity
Careful and traceable shipping
The frame is a homage and should be regarded as such
