Fish serving set - .950 silver

Fish-serving cutlery whose handles are made of 0.950 silver (first title 950‰) featuring a Minerva head, with the blade and the fork in silver-plated metal, made in France during the second half of the 19th century, circa 1870.

Napoleon III sobriety décor on the handles, which are ornamented only by a molded medallion adorned with a pearl-fringed frieze; at the top and bottom it bears acanthus leaves, and the initials “O” and “C” are hand-engraved. The blade and fork feature an openwork and engraved pattern of leafy scrolls.
All finely hand-engraved!
