At auction we present a true "Sacred Grail" for lovers of classic writing, a model out of production that marked an era: the legendary Montblanc Meisterstück Classique Roller (163) Burgundy / Bordeaux. This deep red, warm and elegant shade has been withdrawn from the market for over a decade, making every surviving piece a coveted item for collectors worldwide.
The design is the unmistakable, slim profile of the Classique line. The body and cap (with a press-fit) are made in the rare precious resin color Bordeaux, which under light reveals rich and enveloping chromatic nuances, an absolutely prestigious alternative to classic black. The finishes are finely gold-plated: from the teardrop clip to the three central rings engraved with "MONTBLANC - MEISTERSTÜCK", down to the decorative rings on the cap and at the top. Capped by the iconic white star. As visible in the photos of the pen taken apart, this is a Rollerball model (also compatible with Fineliner refills), ready to offer smooth and precise writing.
The condition is assessed as excellent overall. The Bordeaux resin maintains excellent luster and shows no structural cracks.
